AKSHA WATCH

The Aksha takes its name from one of the foundational languages of India’s civilisational heritage: Sanskrit. AKSHA (अक्ष) means axis, a fitting name for a timepiece built around a distinctive rotating case and its defining vertical pivot.

An evolution of the much-loved Rajasthan Polo Flip Watch, the Aksha draws inspiration from the regal heritage of polo, translating the sport’s distinctive balance of strength, precision and grace into a refined contemporary dress watch.

At just 7.60 mm, its signature rectangular case gives the timepiece a commanding presence on the wrist, while its considered proportions lend an effortless sense of elegance and versatility. The design reflects the spirit of polo; bringing together the robustness demanded by the sport with the sophistication of its aristocratic tradition.

Aksha features an ingenious pivot mechanism. Built around a vertical axis, the case rotates smoothly within its frame, allowing the wearer to turn the watch and reveal its other side. Beyond its visual intrigue, the mechanism adds a sense of robustness and functionality, while protecting the watch’s dial when it is turned inward. The interplay of the axis, pivot and rotating case is what gives the Aksha its distinctive character.
